Important remarks

• Guide language on all excursions is English. Other languages can be booked in advance on private tours or for group tours (must be confirmed from us)
• All excursions include transportation from/to Kirkenes (pick up at hotel or pier, pick up at airport is not included)
• Duration is from start in Kirkenes and drop off in Kirkenes, transfers by bus are included in the total time limit
• Tours between 9.00 and 12.00 fit for guests travelling by Hurtigruten (pick up and/or drop off at pier)
• Warm winter clothing is included on all outdoor activities like husky, snowmobiling, king crab safaris
• Rates are based on a booking of min 2 adults, some excursions are only operated if min 4/6 persons
• On most of the tours children under 12 years: 50% discount. Some excursions have an age limit.
• Snowmobile: prices for 2 persons per snowmobile, for single snowmobile extra fee (must be booked in advance)
• Snowmobile: driving licence is required, persons without driving licence and children only permitted as passengers
• Husky: prices for 2 persons per husky sledge, for single sledges extra fee (must be booked in advance)
• Husky: age limit is 7 years
• Snow hotel takes an extra fee for Christmas and New Year Eve dinner
• Tours incl a meal: The menu is set on our tours and if you have special food preferences/allergies we need to know that in advance
• Some activities are not available in Christmas and Eastern
• Not all activities run every day
• We cannot guarantee a sighting of Northern Lights
• On some excursions groups with more than 20 persons will be divided in 2 groups
• Many of our winter activities are subject to change due to weather- and ice conditions. As a responsible tour operator Pasvikturist AS reserves the right to change the routing and the duration of the excursions without prior notice (no refund). Northern lights can never be guaranteed on the excursions.
• Pasvikturist has the right to cancel excursions in the event of adverse weather or driving conditions (money will be refunded)
• In the beginning (DEC) and end (APRIL) of the winter season tours can be changes due to snow and ice conditions. If the tours are not possible as booked guests get an alternative offer
• All guests are advised to arrange their own travel insurance which also covers winter sports, snowmobile tours, boat trips, fishing trips, husky safaris and general winter and summer activities. Please check with your insurance company (insurance cannot be issued by Pasvikturist AS).

Payment of booked services

All booked and confirmed services must be paid in advance
Invoicing must be agreed in advance and is only possible for cooperation partners.
Payment methods: Payment link online (Master and Visa), PayPal, Vipps, invoice (only if agreed in advance, fee 85 NOK)

Cancellation terms

Tours 1-9 persons

In the event of cancellation:

• less than 14 days prior to the tour: 50% of the total amount must be paid
• less than 7 days prior the tour: 100% of the total amount must be paid
• please note: if you have received an order confirmation and you cancel your booking, we will keep 150 NOK per person per tour administration fee, regardless of the cancellation time
• please note: not valid for private tours and tours with limited capacity

Packages (tours and accommodation) 1-9 persons

In the event of cancellation:

• less than 30 days until 15 days prior to the tour: 50% of the total amount must be paid
• less than 14 days prior to the tour: 100% of the total amount must be paid
• please note: if you have received an order confirmation and you cancel your booking, we will keep 150 NOK per person per tour administration fee, regardless of the cancellation time

Tours and tour packages, Groups from 10 persons

In the event of cancellation:

• less than 35 days until 21 days prior to the tour, 50% of the total amount must be paid.
• less than 20 days prior to the tour, 100% of the total amount must be paid.
• please note: if you have received an order confirmation and you cancel your booking, we will keep 150 NOK per person per tour administration fee, regardless of the cancellation time.

All private-  and exclusive tours with limited number of places (max 16 places)*

In the event of cancellation:

• from the booking confirmation is received until 35 days prior to the tour: 20% of the total amount must be paid.
• less than 34 days, 100% of the total amount must be paid.

Transfers and transportation services and guide service in Norway

In the event of cancellation

• less than 7 days until 73 hours to the transfer service: 50% of the total amount must be paid.
• less than 72 hours to the transfer service: 100% of the total amount must be paid.
• please note: if you have received an order confirmation and you cancel your booking, we will keep 150 NOK per person per tour administration fee, regardless of the cancellation time.

Change of the booking, done by the client:

All changes done by the clients less than 4 weeks prior:
To cover any expenses (bank fee, working hours ….) we reserve a cancellation fee for all bookings that are confirmed by Pasvikturist and which are canceled by the customer later than 4 weeks before arrival. All changes, alterations or cancellations to the reservation confirmed by Pasvikturist, have to be done in written form within our opening hours Mon-Fri

The requested changes are subject to the written approval of Pasvikturist AS. If changes courses extra costs: must be covered by the client.
All guests are advised to arrange their own travel insurance .
