This unforgettable day trip from Kirkenes takes you deep into the peaceful La nature sauvage de Pasvik, home to Norway’s largest brown bear population.

You’ll start the day with a 2.5-hour scenic drive through untouched taiga forest before setting off on a 12 km hike that follows an authentic sentier de patrouille frontalière. Along the way, your local guide shares stories about the wildlife, history, and life along this fascinating frontier.

When to Go:
Available from June 15 to September 30, when the trails are dry and the forest is alive with summer colors.

Getting There:
