This package is for nature lovers. Overnight stay in the National Parc Centre in Svanvik, 40 km south of Kirkenes. Here both nature experiences and good food are in focus. Tours are only operated with local guides. To provide the best experiences, we work with local suppliers.

DAY 1
In the morning: Pick up from Hurtigruten/Havila pier – airport or hotel in Kirkenes (departure time between 10.00 and 13.00 so please let us know your arrival time)

Pasvik sightseeing and tour to visitor centre Øvre Pasvik Nationalpark – 2 hours
A guided trip by buss to Pasvik valley and the border area. Tour in our minivan with a personal touch and a local guide. The valley is one of the last wilderness areas in Europe and known for its unique fauna and flora. You get both, a nice nature experience and information about the interesting history of this area right beside Russia. We follow the Pasvik river (border river to Russia) all the way to Svanvik. everal stops along the way where you have good views of the river and to Russia (stops varies slightly with the seasons).  Visit at the National Park Visitor Centre, which provides information about fauna and flora and the brown bear information Center. Here you will overnight stay in cosy rooms (double or single) surrounded by the beautiful nature of the valley. You can spend the rest of day to explore the area, hike to the river, go for a swimm or just relax
18.00 Local 2 course dinner and overnight stay in the guesthouse at the Nationa Park Center

DAY 2
Breakfast and morning free for more tours on your own. The area offers nice hiking pathes and the staff in the center will help you with maps and more information
12.30 pick up by minivan and local guide. Hiking trip in Pasvik to the old farm house “Namdalen”. We hike in easy terrain and follow a path for about 3 kilometers until we arrive at the old, closed down Farm of Namdalen. The hike takes approximately 1 hour. When we arrive at Namdalen we take break and go back in time of the first settlers, before we’re heading back. We also offer a outdoor lunch (baguettes). Your guide will tell you about our nature and history and answers gladly all your questions. This is a very personal tour, only small groups. This trip requires regular condition. Remember good shoes, drinking water and some snacks!
After the hike we transfer you back to Kirkenes and bring you to the airport or your hotel. Arriving time 17.00
